P90x2 Day2 – Plyocide

Today was day two of P90x2 – Plyocide

Today was a cardio day it seemed. However plyocide is far from just cardio.  P90x2 plyocide is the follow up to the popular plyometrics workout in p90x. I have done plyometrics to the point of puking. This one i ran out of energy before i could push that hard. so it is either hitting me on another level or i need to look at my diet tonight and see if im not getting enough complex carbs. This workout uses a lot of lower body as expected. however if you use heavy enough weight it becomes an upper body workout quick.

It took me thirty minutes longer to complete than it should. 10 was spent with extra rolling in the beginning. the rest was mid set recovery time. This is far from an easy workout but i can definitely feel that i accomplished something by finishing it. P90x2 plyocide is the follow up to the popular plyometrics workout in p90x. This workout had several moves that felt superhero like or that i could see helping you in extreme sports like parkour or skateboarding.

  • Frog Burbee hops are very good for helping you go from ground to air ala parkour or spiderman
  • Spartan Lunges are similar to a Captain American Shield block I did mine with weight to simulate the shield, maybe i should just break out my shield next time :)
