Today was day Four of P90x2 – Total Body
HOLY CRAP – I was expecting a day of lifting and i got it. It wasn’t quite what i expected but i am learning p90x2 never is. You do a lot of balance work throughout the workout. However don’t get me wrong you will move iron. I pushed my self as hard as i could for this one. The spreadsheet I use tells you your total weight load pushed or pulled. so seeing that number i wanted to do at least 1000 lbs . I hit my goal but barely lol. You do the same stretch foam rolling routine you do every other workout but once you start it will remind you of P90x: Chest and Back Push and Pull to the extreme.
- Hardest move – Crunchy Lever: more core than upperbody
- Most Heroic Move – Mule Kick Burpee: Reminds you of a spider-man move
Overall I really enjoyed this one. Only problem was i wish i had more energy in my tank. Higher numbers would have been awesome but it just was no t there, I had absolutely nothing left at the end. If you show up and don’t take it easy on your self this one will take everything you have and then some. Not sure why it seems to only appear in the first phase but i guess we will find out in a couple of weeks. In the mean time If you havent yet, feel free to join me on the journey #GetSuperHeroRipped
