You were born an original. Don’t die a copy. ~John Mason
I aspire to be a Parkour athlete, but I can not be Ryan Doyle. I aspire to be a martial artist, but I can not be Bruce Lee. I aspire to be a superstar beachbody coach, but i can not be Wayne Wyatt
Because I am who I am, and they are who they are.
Each and everyone of us plans for greatness. Sometimes along the way, we get lost in the glitz and the glamour. We lose sight of who we are as we chase the person we want to be. Bruce Lee once said “Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it.”
See there are times when we want so bad to be that rockstar, we begin to idolize them. We begin to change what makes us unique and original. We sacrifice our greatness in a hope of catching a ride on their star, or at the very least being able to say we were a part of it. Truth is we have to find our own path and stay true to who we are.
Doesn’t matter if you plan to write a book one day if you never sit down and write it!
The same can be said about your fitness or your business.
Set your goals, and begin taking the steps to get there.
