Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. This is a perfect example of that. Inspired by Tony Horton’s P90x, CJ Senter (10 years old)decided to take up arms and battle childhood obesity. Driven by a strong desire to workout and stay fit, CJ has become The Workout Kid a hero on a mission to motivate the kids of america and help reverse the trend of childhood obesity.
Often times when people hear about kids working out or staying fit the response is “why are you stealing thier childhood let them be kids , there will be plenty of time to worry about working out and counting calories”. The truth is , if you start them on the path of success at a young age it will better prepare them for the future and keep them from spending years trying to undo all the damage that was done.
CJ is without a doubt a special child, tho p90x inspired him he has now taken the idea of muscle confusion and adapted it into his very own project. Combining fun with friends and a little imagination he has created the first for kids by kids workout program.
If you haven’t figured it out yet. It doesn’t matter if you are working out with Tony Horton or watching your kids workout with CJ Senter, you can’t escape fitness, it is the future america.
